Goa

Well after a lovely short flight we reach Goa. Yay. Couldnt wait to get to the apartment and go to the beach or sit by the pool. After being in Jaipur, Udaipur and Mumbai we really needed some chill out time. Unfortunately this wouldn’t be as soon as I thought. Collected our luggage and made our way to the pre paid taxi rank. Normally you just walk up and instantly and get a taxi. Oh no not this time. The queue was massive.  We queued for one and half hours for the taxi. Never mind. On our way now. Taxi took us through Mumbai which was an eye opener. Very very busy … Continue reading Mumbai

We were shown to our room. the ‘Dame Judy Dench’ room. It … Continue reading Udaipur (ooo. dai. paw)

It is the capital of the Rajasthan state and is named ‘The Pink City’ because the city was painted pink to welcome the Prince of Wales Edward VII in 1876.   We managed to get a taxi and off we started on our adventure.  Well what can I say ‘OMG’. The traffic is unbelievable. On the roads you will find taxis, tuk tuks, lorries, buses, hundreds of scooters, cows and elephants (yes you read right)  all trying to get from A to B … Continue reading Jaipur
